Emily went to the Young Chefs Academy for an afternoon of baking. The theme was cakes. In 3 hours, the kids baked a berry cream dessert, almond sponge cake, angel food cake (w/strawberries & whipped cream), a yellow cake, and a chocolate muffin w/chocolate frosting. Those women must be insane! haha! Although I was envious and would love to have 3 ovens in my kitchen. My favorite was the angel food cake (strawberry shortcake in the end). Emily's fave was ofcourse the chocolate muffin w/icing as you can see evidenced all over her face. :-) She had a wonderful time.
