Lowe's Foods Field Trip

Our homeschool group went on a field trip to Lowe's Foods. It was a healthy kids field trip where the children were given a multitude of healthy samples and shown exercises to do to keep fit. We visited all areas of the store. Emily loved the cooler area (behind the milk) where they were allowed to scream and jump around and get very loud. Thank goodness no one opened the refrigerator doors to get any milk out at that time - as they would have gotten an ear full. :-)

No more training wheels!

Emily recently learned to ride her bike without training wheels. Neal had been practicing with her each day at home on the gravel road. This weekend we drove over to Bethabara Historical Park and let her practice on their paved trail and played in the creek.

Sciworks

We had a recent visit at Sciworks while Curtis was working. We met up with Billy, Crystal and Tiffany and had a great time.

winter wonderland

We actually got 5-6 inches of snow on Sunday night. The kids and I were out in it shortly after 7:00am Monday morning. We walked the road, the yard, built a snowman and fort and had a ball. I have to admit I was a little sore this morning but it was a lot of fun. It had been about five years since the last good sized snow so this was really great.

expecting...

For those that don't know already, we're expecting! I'm due sometime in late September. I'll know the exact due date once I go for the ultra-sound next week.
